They need to have great people handling skills when coordinating with the faculty. Empathy matters a lot, since one has to put themselves in the shoes of a learner and think from their perspective.”

Bringing learning science to the table

“Instructional Design came into prominence during World War II. During the 1940s, there was a need for developing a systematic approach to learning and evaluating the outcomes. Instructional methods for the US Air Force were developed based on the principles of behavioral science. When we design courses, we are continuing the legacy of science in education.”
